Create a stream on YouTube

  1. Go to .

  2. From the top right, click CREATE Go Live to open the Live Control Room.

  3. Click the Stream tab.

  4. If it's your first live stream: Edit your stream and click Create stream. If you’ve live streamed before: Your previous stream settings will load, including your stream key, which means you won’t need to update your encoder.

Connect CamIn to your stream

  1. Go back to CamIn, and click on the [GO Live] button on the right down corner.

  2. Click [Add platform] button, and then choose RTMP option.

  3. Enter your channel's name

  4. Copy the stream URL from YouTube and paste it in to server

  5. Copy the stream key from YouTube and paste it in to Stream Key.

  6. Then start the stream with CamIn and back to YouTube. A watch page is now created for your stream, and you're now live on YouTube. Notifications will be sent and your stream will show up in subscriber feeds.

  7. To end the stream, Click stop on CamIn. All streams under 12 hours will be automatically archived. You can find previous, current, and upcoming streams in the Live Tab on your YouTube Studio dashboard.
